THERAPY? Signs With DEMOLITION RECORDS

January 11, 2008

Demolition Records has announced the worldwide signing of Irish rockers THERAPY? The band has begun the writing process for its twelfth studio album, which is scheduled for release at the end of 2008. The CD will be supported by an extensive touring campaign.

Commented THERAPY? in a statement: "As mentioned in our end-of-year summary, after a long period of negotiating with quite a few labels, we've found a new home for THERAPY? with Demolition Records.

"We met the guys from Demolition way back in October and to be honest we just clicked. We love the label's attitude and forward thinking. In an industry that doesn't seem to know what the next move is, Demolition are one of the few labels that are actually growing in stature whilst embracing the future of the music business."

Demolition boss Ged Cook commented on the signing: "THERAPY? has always been a band that has achieved long-term respect from both the music industry and music fans alike. When I met up with the guys and their management, I was knocked out by their down-to-earth attitude and enthusiasm with regards to their vision for 2008 and onwards. To actually be part of that vision is a total honour for both me and Demolition!!"

A compilation of THERAPY?'s various BBC recordings was released in February 2007. It was available exclusively on iTunes for two weeks, and then through all good download stores.

THERAPY?'s latest album, "One Cure Fits All", was released in April 2006. The follow-up to 2004's "Never Apologise Never Explain" was produced by Pedro Ferriera, who had previously worked with COLOUR OF FIRE, THE DARKNESS and TOKYO DRAGONS, among others.
